Gear Review: Wheels or Straps?
By: Matt Boelk (justin) 2007.05.29
Our grandparent’s choice of luggage was limited to army rucksacks and suitcases. These days, we have backpacks with sport tech neoprene straps and water bottle holders, and we have suitcases with wheels and extendable handles. Still we are left with the choice, wheels or straps?
For years this dilemma was the thorn in the side of every luggage developing, mad-scientist in the world. Their latest concoction is a beautifully Frankensteinian combo of roller-luggage and travel-packs.
The Student Traveler staff put some of these bags to the test and compared comfort, style and versatility to find the best bags out there.
